    • Why do I have to sign up for a Winner’s Edge account to enter the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest?

      For the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest, all participants who want to enter a ticket bought in-store are required to sign-up for a free Winner's Edge account.

      Your Winner’s Edge account is your exclusive ticket to all things OLG. Fully customizable to your unique preferences, you can opt-in to receive winning numbers and jackpot alerts, breaking lottery and sports news and updates, the latest lottery contests, exclusive coupons and more. Signing up only takes a couple minutes, and it’s easy to change your account preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

    • What is the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest?

      From September 5 to October 21, 2024, all Canadian lottery jurisdictions are sponsoring the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest, which offers LOTTO MAX players across the country a chance to win one of 30 weekly $10,000 cash prizes, plus a $1 million grand prize CAD. For Ontario customers, each $5 spent on LOTTO MAX in-store at Ontario retailers will be eligible for five entries into the contest, as explained in more detail below.

    • How do I enter?

      • Purchase eligible LOTTO MAX tickets in-store (retail terminal, lotto express, self-serve terminal, Quick Ticket) from September 5 to October 21, 2024.
      • To earn contest entries from LOTTO MAX tickets purchased in-store, you must first register for an OLG Winner’s Edge Account. If you already have an account, log in now. Once registered, visit the Enter Tickets page on this website and scan eligible in-store tickets with your mobile device or manually enter the ticket code and all other required information.
      • Each $5 spent on eligible in-store LOTTO MAX tickets entered earns five entries into the 30 weekly $10,000 cash prize draws for the week the LOTTO MAX ticket is entered (excluding the value of add-ons such as ENCORE).
      • Each $5 spent on eligible in-store LOTTO MAX tickets entered also earns five entries into the $1 million grand prize draw (excluding the value of add-ons such as ENCORE).
      • All contest submissions must meet OLG requirements for valid entry and are subject to review. See LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest Rules & Regulations to learn more.
    • Do I have to purchase a LOTTO MAX ticket to participate in the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest?

      No. To request an entry without the purchase of a LOTTO MAX lottery ticket, you must complete the following steps:

      1. Log in to your Winner’s Edge account during the contest entry period and acknowledge your acceptance of the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest Official Rules and Regulations.
      2. Clearly print, type or handwrite your first name, last name, full address (Street, Apt./Suite, City/Town, Province, Postal Code), email address, day and evening telephone numbers, date of birth, the words “I agree to the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest Rules and Regulations”, and a minimum 100-word hand-written and unique message on “what I would do if I won $1 million” clearly, and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage), to Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (c/o LOTTO MAX Dream Big Event) PO BOX 60032 Etobicoke RPO Thorncrest, ON, M9A 5G2. There is a maximum of one (1) request per envelope. No mechanical or digital reproduction permitted. All No Purchase Necessary (NPN) requests must be received no later than October 15, 2024, and the email address provided in the letter must match the eligible participant’s Winner’s Edge account email address.
      3. One (1) NPN request will be processed per submission. NPN requests may take up to 48 hours from receipt to be processed by the Contest Administrator.
      4. After correctly following the instructions noted above, for each valid NPN request you will receive five (5) entries into the grand prize draw and five (5) entries into the weekly prize draw for the week the NPN request was processed.     • Who can participate in the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest in Ontario?

      Individuals who are residents of Ontario, eighteen (18) years of age or older, with a valid Winner’s Edge Account. The Contest is not open to volunteers, employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of any of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario; the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG); the respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies of any of the foregoing parties mentioned above; and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the contest, including Splashdot (the Contest Administrator) and those with whom any of the foregoing persons are domiciled, whether related or not.     • Which provinces/territories are participating in the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest?

      All Canadian lottery jurisdictions are participating.

    • What are the odds of winning any prize in the Dream Big Contest?

      Odds of winning any prize will be dependent on the total number of entries received from all participating jurisdictions for each draw.

    • Where can players find winners information?

      Weekly and grand prize winners will be posted on this website on the Winners page as each winning entry is confirmed.

    • What do I do if I am having trouble scanning my LOTTO MAX ticket?

      1. ensure you have a good internet connection
      2. when taking a picture of your LOTTO MAX ticket, ensure the entire LOTTO MAX ticket is within the image area with all numbers easily readable (no folds, scratches or tears through any of the LOTTO MAX ticket numbers, barcodes, etc.).

      If you continue to have issues scanning your LOTTO MAX ticket, try the manual entry option. If you are still having issues, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098.

    • Can I enter if I work at a location where lottery products are sold?

      Retailers and Staff who handle lottery tickets at a location can only enter with tickets purchased at a different OLG retail location. Employees who don’t handle lottery tickets at a location are not restricted as to where they purchase their eligible LOTTO MAX tickets.

    • Can I win more than one prize?

      Yes, each entry is eligible for both the grand prize draw and the 30 weekly prizes for the week’s draw pertaining to that entry.

    • Is there a skill-testing question I need to complete correctly before receiving my prize?

      Yes, winners must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and complete a waiver before having their prize awarded.

    • Do I need to hold onto to the LOTTO MAX tickets that I've entered?

      No. We don’t require you to present the original ticket you entered to claim a prize for this contest. However, make sure you check your original ticket at a retail location to see if it won a prize on the applicable LOTTO MAX draw(s).

    • How will the draws be conducted?

    • When will winners be contacted?

      Potential winners will be notified as soon as reasonably possible following the date of the draw. Attempts will be made to contact potential winners at the telephone number/email address listed in their Winner’s Edge Account. Potential winners will have five (5) business days after initial contact to provide proof of eligibility and to claim their prize. After five (5) business days, a new winner will be selected if the first potential winner does not respond.

  • WINNER’S EDGE EMAILS

    • When I sign up for any of these services, how will I know my sign-up is complete?

      Once you complete the sign-up process, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address (the same email address you used when signing up). This email will contain a link to activate your account.

    • How can I change which emails I am receiving?

      Log in to your Winner’s Edge account, scroll down to Email Preferences and click the “Update Email Preferences” button to review your account preferences. Under the Winner’s Edge Email heading, make your desired changes, click “Change Email Preferences” and your selections will be updated.

    • What if I only want to receive Jackpot alerts when the Jackpots are big?

      You can choose to receive Jackpot alert emails for just the big Jackpot amounts by selecting “High Jackpots only” when you sign up or when you edit your preferences. If you select this option, you will receive Jackpot alert emails only when the LOTTO MAX Jackpot amount is $20 million or more, or when the LOTTO 6/49 amount is $10 million or more.

    • How can I receive information about lottery contests?

      If you select the option to receive newsletters, you will receive updates about lottery products, news and contests.

    • What if I no longer wish to receive a specific email?

      You can opt out of our email program at any time by either using the unsubscribe link contained in any OLG Winner’s Edge email sent to you or by logging in to your account and updating your email preferences.

    • What if I would like to participate in research or surveys?

      If you wish to receive invitations for research or surveys, select that option under your email preferences. You’ll be helping us improve our products and services.

    • What type of information can I expect to see in your email newsletters?

      Email newsletters will provide lottery news, such as information about new lottery games, upcoming promotions, winners and exclusive offers and contests. Sports news will also be offered including information about coupons, PROLINE+ mobile offering, and upcoming seasons and games.

    • How long do you keep my information on file?

      Your information will be kept, and your account maintained as an active account, as long as you are participating in one or more email services (for example participating in email subscriber-exclusive contests), contests, coupons or other services associated with your Winner’s Edge account. We will also continue to keep your information as long as you are still reading our email messages and if we do not receive frequent bounce-backs from your email address.

      If you are not subscribed to or participating in a service, and your email account has not been active for a period of two years from the date of last activity or original registration, whichever comes later, we will remove your records from our mailing list and we will no longer email to that email account, unless you re-subscribe to our email services.

  • SIGNING UP AND LOGGING IN

    • If I signed up for an OLG Contest through Winner’s Edge in the past, do I need to create a separate account just for the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest?

      No. If you signed up for a Contest through Winner’s Edge in the past, then you can use those log-in credentials to participate in the LOTTO MAX Dream Big Contest. When logged in, you can also edit your account preferences at any time.

    • Why am I getting the error message “Email address is already in use” when I try to sign up for a Winner’s Edge account?

      If you receive this message, and you have not already signed up for an OLG Winner’s Edge account, it is possible that someone else has signed up using the same email address. An email address cannot be used by more than one person. If you believe this message is incorrect or require additional assistance, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098.

    • Why can’t I log in? The site isn’t recognizing my information.

      You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Check that you haven’t made any typos and that Caps Lock is off. Also make sure you haven’t entered any spaces. If you continue to have an issue, go to the Forgot login page.

    • What if I forgot my password?

      If you’ve already signed up for an OLG Winner’s Edge account, and have forgotten your password, go to the Forgot Login page.

    • I no longer have access to the email address that I signed up with. What should I do?

      If you have forgotten or no longer have access to the email address that you signed up with, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098 for assistance.

    • How do I change the email address in my profile?

      To change your email address, you must log in to your Winner’s Edge account and update your profile.

    • How do I change my phone number, address or other information I signed up with?

      To change your phone number, address or other information you signed up with, you must log in to your Winner’s Edge account and update your profile.

    • Why do I have to enter my date of birth when registering for a Winner’s Edge account?

      OLG has firm policies and procedures to protect against minors participating in any lottery or sports game or contest or engaging with our websites. Members must provide their date of birth in order to confirm that they are at least 18 years of age.

    • What does OLG do with my personal information?

      Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information is important to us. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information by the OLG are governed by The Province of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.     • Is this account the same as my OLG.ca account?

      No. If you have registered for an OLG.ca account you will also need a Winner’s Edge account to receive information and updates, along with Jackpot alerts and winning numbers details.
